Abstract
In this present study, the mitochondrial DNAgenecytochrome coxidase subunit I (COI) and the small subunit ribosomal RNA (18SrDNA)genewere used to determine thetaxonomicrelationshipsofPsoroptesandChorioptesmitesfromChina. The neighbor-joining and maximum-parasimony approach were used to evaluate the evolutionary relatedness among different hosts in the generaPsoroptesandChorioptes. Phylogenetic analysis showed thatPsoroptescuniculi andPsoroptesnatalensis may be two different species within the genusPsoroptes, andChorioptestexanus andChorioptespanda are different species within the genusChorioptes.
